The vision an dream of an Alchemist. Fangorn is a flower farm dedicated to growing unique and rare spcies of plants - for personal love of the botanical kingdom, and for those who of you who may just want a few!
Our Story
From the start this farm was a long term goal and dream for ex-veterinary surgeon, Morkel Pienaar, which actualised in 2020.
This is his home and where his love for growing beautiful flowers and plants merges with a small scale commercial business to provide a limited range of flowers and foliage to local businesses, floral artists and venues.
This is currenlty based on availability and seasons.

Fangorn derives its name from The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
The farm is a place that has also been created for flower journeys and for magical explorations, retreats and sojourns.
Mostly, however its a place for the soulful and magical practice of sowing seeds to reap a harvest of colour and splendour from the soil.
Nature is our healer and this life is one to be lived. Fangorn represents proof that having a dream and finding purpose and fulfilling your passions is entirely possible.
A sanctuary for all who know it and a blessing for any who get to visit.
